{"id":529,"date":"2009-06-29T18:04:57","date_gmt":"2009-06-29T22:04:57","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.qwocboston.org\/?p=529"},"modified":"2009-06-29T18:04:57","modified_gmt":"2009-06-29T22:04:57","slug":"black-lesbian-and-bisexual-women-sought-for-dissertation-study","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/test.qwoc.org\/?p=529","title":{"rendered":"Black Lesbian and Bisexual Adult Women Sought for Participation in Dissertation Study"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Contribute YOUR voices to the understanding and needs of OUR community.<br \/>\n<\/strong><br \/>\nGraduate student conducting a study examining the experiences of race and sexual orientation in the lives of Black lesbian and bisexual women, encouraging women that meet the following to participate:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Adult (18+) woman<\/li>\n<li>Black (US born and\/or raised)<\/li>\n<li>Identify as lesbian, bisexual woman, or as a woman who is sexually and\/or romantically attracted to other women (recognizing that the term &#8220;lesbian&#8221; and\/or &#8220;bisexual&#8221; may not be the terms you use to describe your sexual orientation)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Your participation would consist of two (2) interviews:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The first interview will include questions about your experience of your race and sexual orientation in communities of Color and in lesbian, gay, bisexual (LGB) communities.<\/li>\n<li>During the second interview you will be asked to provide feedback on your initial answers, general themes found in this study, and you will be asked to complete a brief survey.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Interviews may be face-to-face (depending on your location) or via phone.<\/p>\n<p>If you are interested in participating in this study, please contact\u00a0queerwomenofcolorstudy@gmail.com or call (617) 245-0833 to schedule an interview time.\u00a0Additionally, please visit <a href=\"http:\/\/sites.google.com\/site\/queerwomenofcolorstudygroup\" target=\"_blank\">http:\/\/sites.google.com\/site\/queerwomenofcolorstudygroup<\/a> for further information.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Be HEARD.<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Contribute YOUR voices to the understanding and needs of OUR community.
