Concert"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Boston University&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bu.edu\/cgsa\/\">Center for Gender, Sexuality and Activism<\/a>\u00a0are excited to bring you their annual Women&#8217;s Rock! concert, a musical showcase of all women performers. Located somewhere within the traditions of Sweet Honey in the Rock, julie dash, The Clovers, Issa Rae, Bobby McFerrin, Audre Lorde and BonIver.<\/p>\n<p>She released her first self-produced album on Itunes in January 2011, and posts an original live song weekly on her queerBgirl youtube video blog.\u00a0Her music is simple yet infectious, and always sincere. In her own words, &#8220;Some days I want to write sappy love songs for my girlfriend. Some days I want to write about a season. Some days I want to write about racism. But mostly, I want to write fun music for people like me.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>B is a singer\/MC in the queer pop group The Lost Bois, and is currently attending Howard University in pursuit of her M.F.A. in film.&#8221;<\/p>\n<h4><a href=\"http:\/\/test.qwoc.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/04\/China-Fox-Pic1.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-7318 alignleft\" alt=\"China Fox Pic\" src=\"http:\/\/test.qwoc.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/04\/China-Fox-Pic1.png\" width=\"240\" height=\"160\" \/><\/a>China Fox<\/h4>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.chinafox.bandcamp.com\/\">www.chinafox.bandcamp.com\/<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Pop thunder vocals, electric nights, psuedo-synth, an ear for integration, and a thirst for the blues&#8230;so was born China Fox.
